Wilderness First Aid From A Senior Leadership Perspective

Are you responsible for others in education, guided, or recreation oriented outdoor activities where medical attention is not immediately available?

This training will provide you with the skills to manage injuries caused by force; common environmental injuries; and illnesses including heat and cold injuries in long term care situation.

This comprehensive course will teach you how to use the medical supplies available to a prepared leader.

Techniques are practiced both in the classroom and in realistic outdoor simulations. You will learn how to make a complete plan, which includes treatment AND evacuation of the patient. Successful participants will be issued a certificate valid for three years (CPR must be renewed bi-annually).
